As part of our run up to the Irish Java Technologies Conference on January 7th and 8th in the Science Gallery, we have teamed up with our Premier Sponsor JBoss to hold a special evening of technology on December 4th at the magnificent Westbury Hotel in Dublin.

The free to attend evening event will be held in the grand environment of the Westbury Hotel at 6:30pm on Thursday 4th December.

 

The evening will be as follows....

  • 19.00: JBoss portfolio - a brief overview*
  • 19.20: JBoss Demo - Seam, Hibernate, EJB3 and WS
  • 20.10: Break
  • 20.20: JBoss at Scale - Management, monitoring, performance tuning

Graham Gear is a Solution Architect at Red Hat and brings a broad experience across the full suite of JBoss products. He began his career in defence software research, ultimately moving to commercial consultancies as a software engineer across telco, finance and insurance industries.


Throughout his career, Graham continually found the innovation, ease of use and feature set required to solve the problems within the open source community, which built a belief and passion in
the open source development model, which naturally lead him to Red Hat.


Graham now holds a Specialist role in the Red Hat Middleware Division, expert in the design, implementation and operations of solutions in the middleware space.
