2 CommentsGary Tully has over 12 year experience as a software developer (mostly with Java) and loves nothing better than getting to the root cause of a complex problem. He is a Software Architect at Progress Software (formerly IONA Technologies) working with the FUSE open source team.
Gary studied Computer Engineering at Trinity College Dublin and more recently completed an MSc in the Management of Information System at Trinity College. In addition, Gary is an active committer on the ActiveMQ project at the Apache Software Foundation.
What You'll Hear in Gary's Presentation "How to Choose a Java Messaging Solution"
In Gary's presentation at the Irish Java Technologies Conference, entitled "How to Choose a Java Messaging Solution?" he will explain why there are a bunch of related issues that need to be considered. In this talk, some of the pertinent issues will be discussed and related to Apache ActiveMQ. The relationship between community, open source and open standards will be explored as will some of the features that make ActiveMQ a leader.
